Friday 25th Jan 2008 the UL Vikings will hand over the proceeds of their 2008 charity calendar to the Mid-West Cancer Centre in Russells Bar, Raheen, Limerick at 8pm.

University of Limerick Graduations

Congratulations to everyone who graduated in the past few days. I hope to follow soon.
I found it quite unusual to see an army officer wear his uniform under the graduation robes but apparently they are obliged to wear them for formal occasions.

See how the entire city lights up with fireworks. We were in front of the palace which was all very civilised and had a great view. Down by the harbour, things were a little more chaotic. Next year, unlicensed fireworks are banned in Norway! - Last explosive celebration - Aftenposten.no
